Shayna Kalish

Shayna Kalish earned a Master of Science in Educational Psychology from Penn State where she performed scholarly research on reading, testing, program evaluation and supporting students with learning disabilities. Shayna lives in Merion Station with her family and is the full-time parent to two young children, the older of whom will enter kindergarten at Cynwyd Elementary in the fall.

Lucy Klain

Lucy Klain has more than 20 years of professional experience as the national projects director for an international nonprofit, a city planner, and as an Assistant Deputy Mayor for the City of Philadelphia, and has been President of both the Penn Valley HSA and the district’s InterSchool Council. Lucy lives in Ardmore with her husband and three children, who attend Harriton High School, Lower Merion High School, and Welsh Valley Middle School.

Peter Lee

Peter Lee is a consultant with 25 years of experience in data analysis, technology, and strategy. For the last 10 years, his professional focus has been on helping nonprofits and public, charter and independent schools improve education for disadvantaged communities by better leveraging data and technology. Peter and his wife live in Ardmore with their three children – a junior at Harriton, an 8th grader at Welsh Valley, and a 2nd grader at Penn Valley.

Shawn Mooring

Shawn Mooring has more than 20 years of professional experience in the philanthropic and nonprofit sectors funding and implementing innovative programs focused on social justice, program evaluation, strategic planning, and community engagement. Since 2016, he has served on LMSD’s Achievement Imperative Task Force. Shawn and his wife live in Penn Wynne with their two sons who attend Lower Merion High School.

Subha Robinson

Subha Robinson is Vice President of the School Board and a Certified Public Accountant. Since joining the Board in 2011, she has worked to promote educational excellence and equity, communication and transparency, and fiscal responsibility. A 23-year resident of Lower Merion Township, Subha lives in Gladwyne with her husband and four children, two graduated from LMSD schools and two are at Harriton High School.
